Drying Systems

Fluid Bed Dryer

The product to be dried is freed in the fluidized bed drying system by means of hot air. After the product is dried, it is cooled using ambient air. The hot air used in drying is obtained by indirect heating with the filtered ambient air fresh steam. Before being discharged to the atmosphere, the exhaust air of the dryer is passed through the dust cyclone and then through the bag filter. In the dryer, the electric motor connected to the special drive mechanism is used instead of the drive system vibration motor. Vibration motor; It has a negative effect on the body and crystal size of the dryer since the frequency of the movement it creates is high and its amplitude is low.

The motion created by the drive mechanism has low frequency and high amplitude. Therefore, it does not oscillate the body violently and the crystals move through the fluidized bed without breaking smoothly.

Spray Dryer

Spray drying is the process of spraying the liquid product with hot air and turning it into powder in desired sizes as a result of the evaporation of the water in it. Micron size and low moisture products can be obtained according to other drying methods. Spray drying process is used in many products in Pharmacy, Mining, Cosmetics, Food Industry sectors.

Obtaining homogeneous products, being able to be used in all products that can be obtained with thermal resistance and being controlled with full automation are the biggest advantages. In addition to these, there are also disadvantages such as taking up high dimensions and not working with very high efficiency.
